The Christocentric dimension of Christian hope
Keywords:
christian hope, christocentrism, education in hopeAbstract
The civilization progress that is taking place in the modern world brings a number of threats. The displacement of God from the public space has resulted in the loss of the meaning of life and the loss of man. The young generation is growing up in environments devoid of hope, as evidenced by the growing number of suicides. People will remain in hopelessness unless they find Jesus Christ who is the source of true hope. The task of the Church in today’s difficult times is to proclaim the Word of God, which is full of hope. In the current cultural and religious situation, there is a need for Catholics with mature faith, who will bear witness to God’s love for all people. The Church, as a community of people filled with hope, is to be a constant signpost, showing that we are saved in hope through liturgy, prayer and evangelization.
