The paper describes volunteering on a few examples of social, economic and pedagogical institutions, focusing especially on the projects carried out in the Vienna Business School. These socio-charitable projects, initiated as part of religion education, employ modified tools and methods of project management. The article touches on different levels of education developed by German teachers of religion. With over a hundred and sixty projects submitted to this day, the Amicus Award contest for fourteen years now has been connecting school environment with the world of business, non-governmental institutions with religious organizations. During the award evening selected student projects are presented and awarded.
