The family as the cornerstone of society according to Saint John Paul II

Abstract

In order to be able to actively and effectively participate in the cultural debate about the family and its role, one must first become aware of its value, have a sense of their own identity and dignity of the human person. These foundations of the Christian understanding of the family and human community are present in the teaching of St. John Paul II. The article is divided into three parts: the family is the task of the Saint Polish Pope, a place where man discovers his dignity (1), the environment in which everyone learns, or should learn, their vocation to love and responsibility (2), the family is the most important and irreplaceable school of solidarity (3).
