Abstract

Another liturgical year in the Roman Catholic Church has started on 30th November 2014, and it is going to continue till the next Advent. It comprises the years 2014 and 2015, the time when the Pastoral Program „Repent and believe the Gospel” accepted by the Polish Episcopal Conference is to be implemented. The message directs the pastoral activity of priests and lay people who are engaged in proclaiming God's Word in the Church and school. The name of the program itself emphasizes the need of conversion of all believers, both lay and cleric. It requires catechists' commitment to actions aiming to change them, their way of thinking and behavior as well as actions aiming to break with sins, turn to God, immerse in the Divine Mercy and experience the joy that comes from it. The article attempts to evaluate the conversion issues in religion coursebooks edited by rev. Paweł Mąkosa.
