Abstract

Our task is to faith fully guard the spiritual heritage that the holy Polish Pope left us. With regard to vocations to the priesthood and religiouslife, this means to provide the younger generation with a Catholic education. Our families and parishes should be the places where girls and boys are educated to be good and en lightened Christians who-if such is their vocation-become mature, joyous and holy priestsor consecrated persons, who are brave enough to die as martyrs, like st. John Paul II and bl.fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko did. St.John Paul II is a patron and advocate for all those who follow Christ, i.e. those who in times of aggressive promotion of evil and selfish culture of death have the courage to follow the path of life and blessing, the path of love and fidelity to Christ-in every vocation and at any price
