Abstract

Timelessness of the system of St. John Bosko is primarily recognised in terms of the integral process of education, which combines the physical with the spiritual development. Therefore, the activities of the Salesians in the field of sports is very much alive. SALOS brings together local and regional organisations that through sports competition aim for popularising physical activity among young people. Without selection for group calls, conducted a comprehensive activity of children and youth. The idea is to reduce the Salesian sports tension due to competition. Do not pursued here to the championship, but for pure, fair fight in which there are winners and losers. Moreover, no one feels worse. To sports fight is introduced humanism and the joy of competition for all the parties. SALOS is also a very important part of the cultural life of the cities in which it operates, enjoying a good reputation and general recognition.
