Abstract

Catechizing is a service in relationship to God and people. Its work is to illuminate the earthly existence of the human being and help towards a way that leads to true and authentic dedication to God in faith. If one is to show the fulfillment of the work of attachment to God and people, Catechizing hands on a deepened and unfolding discipline of faith. Catechismal formation for the Christian includes the whole life of the person. Catechizing has its own identity and guides towards constant formation, firmness, delicacy and a sensitive conscience. Catechizing has to be evangelical and as one form of theological handing on of revelation in the Church, must adapt its content and structural methods to its own identity in handing on the faith, which is included in the constant connection between the Sacred Scripture, tradition and the Magisterium of the Church.
