Abstract

Today's renewal movements in the Church comprise mainly lay people, though of course it happens that religious and priests also include in their activities. They areborn as a result of the impact of charismatic personalities. Taking the shape of specific communities, experience the gospel in its integral radicalism and without reservation, considering its raison d'être in the Church, without which it could not exist. The main areas of lay apostolate are particularistic religious community, family, youth, environment, social, national and international groups. Apostolic life is not an end in itself, but should trigger the service, which is the first part of the missionary, the proclamation of the Gospel.
