Abstract

The essence of the priesthood is selfless concern for others. This concern similar to that of spouses and parents turn to their families, based on the unconditional and irrevocable love that Jesus taught us. The priest is called to spiritual paternity. For the common people should be the parent, the mother and father, like the God who cares for each of us as his beloved children. Being a priest to the faithful received the mission to love common people as if they were relatives. To understand the man and the meaning of his existence. The priest is to take care of the whole person here and now, not just the fate of his soul after death. Be a priest to take particular care to those who turn out to be helpless, wandering or being mistreated. Being a priest is also to strengthen the people strong, which help them to live even smarter and brighter than before and that they may strengthen those who need help andwhere the priest is not able to reach in person.
