Church, continuing the saving work of Christ in the liturgy, the faithful focus on the person of Jesus Christ and the mystery of his life, passion, death and resurrection, and to bring about a full and fruitful participation in the salvific mysteries. In catechesis leads not only to show saving history the plan of God, who in Christ, the Word made flesh began ecclesial community, but also allows for the reality of salvation to participate fully.
